Hello! And welcome to my website.

This is my little, personal, website, explaining a litle bit about who I am and what I do careerwise. There are just a few pages here talking about projects that I'm working on, and some details about my IT career. I've also included a contact form, and there's a simple search tool. This site is really just me playing around ... afterall we all need a web presence ;-)

After a brief career break, I am currently working for Rico Logistics as a Technical Architect. I have spent over 20 years in IT - 9 at British Rail; 13 at Experian. More details can be found in the 'About Me' page if you are interested.

I have no real experience in designing and building websites, although I'm gaining a bit in my current role. I'd have done things quite a bit different here had I known then what I know now.

Tools Used

I use Ubuntu at home, and have my own LAMP set-up running on my home network which is useful when developing server-side software. For editing HTML I generally just use Gedit, whilst Filezilla is used for FTP/SFTP.
